MINNEAPOLIS — Christian Braun used to be teleported again in time to one in all his school video games.
It used to be Nov. 26, 2021, in opposition to his new Nuggets teammate DaRon Holmes II and the Dayton Flyers. With 1:45 last within the first part, Braun taunted after a slam dunk that put Kansas up 44-29 and gained a technical foul. Dayton ended the part on a 6-0 run after which tied the sport 4 mins after the intermission. KU misplaced on a buzzer-beater.
Braun recalled that recreation to his teammates within the Denver locker room Friday evening, after a dramatic 119-116 loss to the Timberwolves. It’s no longer a fond reminiscence for him, and neither used to be this spotlight.
