Wolf Creek ski house will declare Colorado first-tracks honors Tuesday when it turns into the primary Colorado ski house to open for the 2024-25 season.
The 85-year-old ski mountain, positioned at Wolf Creek cross, 250 miles from Denver in southern Colorado, gained 26 inches of snow in contemporary days and can open 11 trails at 9 a.m. with an 18-inch settled base. The ones trails constitute 30% of Wolf Creek’s skiable terrain. Carry tickets are $68.
Tuesday’s opening will mark the earliest Colorado opening since 2021 when Wolf Creek opened for weekends-only snowboarding on Oct. 16. Arapahoe Basin opened an afternoon later that season.
