Prolonged warmth is killing loads of fish in one among Denver’s hottest lakes as the town roasts below some other lengthy stretch of temperatures nearing 100 levels.
A minimum of 400 fish died in Sloan’s Lake over the weekend because of the warmth, Denver Parks and Game spokeswoman Stephanie Figueroa stated. Dozens of carp, bluegill and sunfish floated useless alongside the shore Monday morning as parks and game workforce labored to take away them.
